Letters to Philadelphia Society for Promoting Agriculture, 1819-1823.

Isaac Conard of Lancaster County, Pa., describes his invention of a machine for planting corn and sends a model of it to the Society (1819). In 1823 he sends a letter describing improvements made to this machine. The third item is a letter describing his method of fencing (1823).
